Ledro Land Art, what is the green project and how it is born
In the pine forest of Pur, one of the green lungs of the Valle di Ledro, near the lake of the same name, artistic creativity blends with nature through the reinterpretation of spaces and interaction with the elements present by the artists participating in the project.
Walking along the suggestive path that runs along the Assat stream, the landscape shows site-specific interventions that are carried out on site every year during the summer season.
Ledro Land Art is an art park, born in 2012 at the behest of the municipality of Ledro following the strong desire to enhance the territory, art and of nature.
The path winds along the pine forest of Pur, along the Assat torrent up to Malga Cita and contains dozens of site-specific works, in dialogue with the surrounding environment and made mostly with materials of natural origin. The works are also exposed to the elements and the inexorable passage of time, which makes them unique day after day, as they are constantly changing.
The itinerary is not restricted and it is possible to follow it in any order you like, it represents a chance to get closer to nature and to get to know old traditions, which are now forgotten, spending a relaxing afternoon outdoors.
Activities proposed by the Ledro Land Art Park
Ledro Land Art is not only an art park, but also an open-air laboratory where workshops, musical performances are held and theatrical, performances and educational visits for adults and children. Furthermore, every year great events are held such as Ledro Land Art Festival and Ledro Land Art Experience.
