Riva del Garda as you've never seen it before: Riva's panoramic lift

In Garda Trentino, precisely in Riva del Garda, there is the panoramic lift which, from the starting point, takes the visitor to the Venetian Bastion completing a 208 meters long route and an altitude difference of 130 meters in about three exciting minutes.
From the cabin made entirely of glass, in order to allow as complete a view as possible, you can therefore admire the panorama of the center of Riva del Garda and of Lake Garda in all its splendor.

Once you reach the Bastione, there is a restaurant nearby, ideal for aperitifs or dinners with an unmissable view: a view that sweeps from the Castle of Arco up to Malcesine with the Bondone chain in the background up to Nago.
A few steps from the refreshment point, there is the Bastione in all its grandeur, a Venetian tower which over time has become one of the icons of Riva del Garda.
It was built by the Serenissima between 1507 and 1508 with the aim of guarding the border with the Episcopal Principality of Trento.
To date, it is one of the most popular destinations among guests of the town. For those who love walking, the Bastion is connected to the center via a path that can be covered in about 20 minutes.

At what times is Riva's panoramic lift operating?

The service offered by the panoramic lift of Riva del Garda is active for several months throughout the year:

from 18 March to 7 April, the center is open from 10.00 to 19.00 every day of the week, except Tuesdays.

From 8 April to 24 May instead it is divided into two time slots: always from 10.00 to 19.00 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; from 10.00 to 23.30 instead from Friday to Sunday.

Finally, from May 25th to October 16th, the lift operates from 9.30 am to 12.30 am every day of the week.

It is also important to know that the last ascent takes place 30 minutes before closing.

Ticket prices for the panoramic lift in Riva del Garda

The ticket for the panoramic lift has a price that varies according to the period and the route:

From March 18th to May 24th and from October 17th to November 13th, the single ticket costs € 4.00, while the ticket including round trip costs € 6.00

From 25 May to 16 October, the single ride costs € 4, the return ticket costs € 7.00

If you have the Garda Guest Card, there is a free return ticket for each person included in the card

There are no discounts.

Useful information and things to know

Due to the safety measures related to the pandemic, the capacity of each ride is set at a maximum of 17 people.

FFP2 mask mandatory.

Free for children under 120 cm in height and the disabled (with paying adult).

The cash desk does not issue the free ticket, it is in fact necessary to contact the service staff who will be responsible for issuing the document.

One wheelchair or pram (stroller) is allowed for each trip.

Dogs can travel on the lift but only if they are muzzled and leashed (only one can enter per cabin, admission is free).
