Description

We are a small family business established in 2019 in Valpolicella Classica, where we grow and vinify our organic grapes with passion. Our roots lie in the Cimbra land of Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo, where our family has been dedicated to agriculture and farming for generations.

Making wine is our way of expressing the deep bond with the land where we were born and raised. We produce about 10,000 bottles a year, seeking in each one freshness, authenticity and balance.

We use regenerative farming practices, winemaking by parcel and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, letting the raw material speak for itself. For us, each bottle is a sincere and respectful expression of a complex, living land rich in history.

Other characteristics

  • Typical farm product:

    Our labels:

    • Valpolicella Classico DOC ‘Baimara’: Baimara, from the Cimbrian ‘fruit of the vine’, is the immediate and sincere essence of Valpolicella Classica, obtained from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes grown in San Floriano.

    • Valpolicella Classico Superiore ‘Roas’: Roas, which means ‘flower’ in Cimbrian, is made from grapes harvested when fully ripe in the Bure vineyard.

    • Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore ‘Rhèba’: Rhèba, ‘vine plant’ in Cimbrian, combines the freshness of Valpolicella with the structure of Amarone. The wine re-ferments on Amarone marc for 7-10 days and matures 18 months in 500L tonneaux.

    • Amarone Classico ‘Marask’: Màrask, ‘cherry’ in Cimbrian, comes from grapes harvested slightly in advance and dried for 60 days to preserve freshness and acidity. It matures 3 years in new tonneaux, then one year in steel and one in the bottle.

    • IGT ‘Fèffar’: Fèffar, ‘pepper’ in Cimbrian, recalls the spicy notes of the rare Pelara grape, of which we cultivate only a few rows. Production limited to 600 bottles per year, with ageing exclusively in stainless steel.

    • Spumante Brut Rosé ‘Àiba’: Àiba, symbol of life in Cimbrian, enhances the Molinara with a delicate sparkling wine. Full cluster pressing, 6 months on the lees, re-fermentation in autoclave and final ageing in steel.
